Framed Ships Photographs
These are black and white photographs of Royal Navy Ships on to which we have placed a full colour picture of the Ships Crest. Additionally we personalise the picture with the name of an individual and service details. We pride ourselves in the size of our library but it should be remembered that some very old ships and some ships which were sadly lost during World War II may have poorer quality images than more modern ships. It can however be a very comforting and proud memento of an individuals service. The photographs are framed in a mahogany style real wooden frame which measures approx 12.25 inches wide by 8.5 inches high. The front is non reflective styrene (plastic 'safety glass'). the back is dust seal taped and complete with a hanging fixture. We cannot guarantee that the photograph will be the exact year that the person served aboard her but if you provide the service dates we will try our utmost to find a suitable image. Ships Crests on a wooden shield.
Here we have taken the traditional ships crest and made all of them readily available, personalised them and we believe also made them more affordable. There is firstly a wooden shield which measures approx 7 inches high and 6 inches wide. On top of that is a raised shield shape with a recess into which we fix a sheild shaped piece of GRP which has the image of the ships crest on it. The image is permanent and under normal use scratchproof. Underneath the image there is a scroll for the name of the ship and above is the personalisation with the individuals name and rank. Every ships crest is available on a pair of quality cuff links in either a gilt or silver finish. The links are presented in a quality box and the engraved detail is amazing. Gold and Silver Wire Blazer Badges
Each ships crest is carefully sewn BY HAND on black wool cloth. The cloth measures approx 7 inches square and so can be used on very large pockets or the crest can be cut out. Owing to the very large number of ships crests over the years we do not stock every single crest. If the crest that you want is not in stock we will make it for you at the normal price but it may take up to six weeks to complete.
